Ganns’ Top 10 – June 30, 2012

Go Fish’s harmonies-rich take on Shackles (Praise You) by Mary Mary holds onto #1 for a second week, fending off a renewed assault by Audrey Assad (whose album, Heart, as well as its predecessor, The House You’re Building, are now part of the Deen Christian CD collection, whee!), and Christian ambient-rock band Luminate, whose new single, Banner of Love, specifically the FANTASTIC acoustic version on YouTube, enters my chart at number 3.

Meanwhile, on the secular chart, Pentatonix’s Somebody That I Used to Know slips to #2, thanks to a new debut. YouTube star Kurt Schneider teamed up with Max Schneider and Victoria Justice for a phenomenal Bruno Mars medley that is not a single but is getting crazy airplay on my chart. This number one debut steals the thunder from Super Junior’s Sexy Free and Single, which also debuts well.
