Ganns’ Top 10 – May 1 2010
As of May 1, 2010, these are my top 10 favorite songs. Secret becomes the second Kpop girl group to go to #1; the first was Brown Eyed Girls, whose Abracadabra makes a disappearing act this week. New to the Top 10 is 2PM, whose Without U becomes their second hit.
Revisiting “Set Apart”
In 2008, I wrote a song titled Set Apart for Uncommon, a message series of Victory Fort Bonifacio, the church in the Philippines for which I work. When it was sung in church, it was transformed into a praise anthem instead of the mid-tempo pseudo-ballad I’d imagined it to be. Almost two years since, I realize the original demo of Set Apart doesn’t sound that dated, praise God. A few months afterward, I played around with GarageBand and made a remix of the track.

As of April 24, 2010, these are my top 10 favorite songs. I hadn’t posted a single blog entry since my last Top 10, which is an indication of how swamped in work I am. But hey, praise God that I’ve got work. :)

As of April 1&, 2010, these are my top 10 favorite songs. The SuJu high is ridiculous! Also, check out the video of this week's debut, Magic by Korean girl group Secret. The song's all right - shades of Beyonce, and the pronunciation of "magic" as "mazik" is atrocious...
