Billboard Top Christian Songs – November 17, 2012

Big Daddy Weave’s Redeemed earns a second week at number one on Billboard’s Christian Songs chart. Posing a strong challenge is Third Day’s I Need a Miracle, a very strong contender for number one in the next month or so. Also new to the top 10 is Passion’s One Thing Remains, up a surprising 16-10 this week. In the vein of Matt Redman’s 10000 Reasons (Bless the Lord), the worship anthem is earning raves for its powerful lyrics and singable melody. Featured singer Kristian Stanfill, a longtime collaborator of Passion’s, earns his first Top 10 hit. One Thing Remains is Passion’s second consecutive Top 10 hit from its White Flag release; the title track, featuring Tomlin, peaked at number six earlier this year.

Squeaking into the Top 50 this week is Jamie Grace’s Come to Me at number 50. The video features country legend Johnny Cash’s widow, Joanne. Greatest Gainer is Chris Tomlin’s Whom Shall I Fear, up 20-17 this week.
