Billboard Top Christian Songs – March 24, 2012

Building 429 makes it three weeks in a row on Billboard’s Top Christian Songs with Where I Belong, but the Top 10 has become more exciting with two new songs and increased activity. Newsboys enter the Top 10 with God’s Not Dead (Like A Lion), up 11 to 7 this week; also new is Britt Nicole, whose All This Time ensures that every single one of Britt’s three carrier singles from their albums has made the Top 10 (You from Say It and The Lost Get Found from the album of the same title, have both scored Top 10 finishes). Britt has yet to score a #1 hit, but it would be encouraging, and I’ll bet Sparrow Records will throw extra marketing behind All This Time to hopefully take Britt to #1. Top debut honors go to new Christian artist Moriah Peters (pictured) with I Choose Jesus; Greatest Gainer honors to Christian band Mikeschair with All For You, up 30-21.
