Hillsong Young and Free has released the carrier single from its sophomore album, “Youth Revival.” Titled “Where You Are,” it follows in the same vein of its predecessor singles, combining worshipful lyrics with club beats to cater to a younger market of teen and young adult Christians who may find the group’s older sibling, UNITED, a little too hipster for their taste.
Jody McBrayer, “This is a Son”
Contemporary Christian singer and former Avalon member Jody McBrayer has released “This is a Son,” the first single off his new album, “Keep Breathing.” I have always considered Jody’s voice one of the finest in Contemporary Christian music, and while “This is a Son” is a lovely track on its own, the fact that it showcases Jody’s voice is really its strongest point.
tobyMac, “Move (Keep Walkin’)”
Fresh off his 2016 Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Christian Album of the Year (for “This is Not a Test”), Christian rapper/singer tobyMac has released his new single, “Move (Keep Walkin’).”
Finding Favour, “Refuge”
“Refuge,” the new single from Contemporary Christian pop/rock praise and worship group Finding Favour, is finding life on Christian AC, picking up airplay even as its parent album, “Reborn,” enters its seventh month of release.
One Sonic Society, “Great Are You Lord”
Contemporary Christian praise and worship group One Sonic Society’s “Great Are You Lord” is the band’s new release from the six-track EP, “Make a Way.” Powerful in its declaration of the greatness of our God, it is a strong single that should do well on Christian Soft AC/Inspo.
