My wife and I discovered Maiyo Canberra after borrowing several books from the Civic Library.
We were very surprised to see the gorgeous interiors of this Canberra cafe; it’s one of the most meticulously decorated, lushly designed cafes we’ve been to.
Cosy, welcoming and relaxing, it was a great place for us to sit and read the books we borrowed.
My wife ordered an Egg Coffee, which was rich, mocha-foamy and excellently balanced. I had a guava fruit tea which was colourful and lightly sweetened; I was able to pour water into it to extend the flavours because it was jam-packed with fruit.
All in all, a great experience.
