Former 2NE1 member Minzy has released her new single, “Lovely.” It’s her first single since “NiNaNo,” music she released with Music Works. She has since left that agency and has released this gorgeous acoustic track.
“Lovely” is simultaneously sad and hopeful, as it deals with the emotions felt by someone who used to be in a relationship and is no longer in it, but misses it. Despite the sorrow, there is hope in the chorus with the reassurance that we are all ‘lovely.’ The MV accompanies that hope, as she sings, dressed in fetching dresses, in several gently romantic locations. Overall, a lovely video for a lovely song from a beautiful woman.
