Contemporary Christian supergroup MercyMe has released easygoing chill track “Grace Got You” to Christian AC. Featuring Christian rapper John Reuben, “Grace Got You” has quite the pedigree, having been written by hitmakers Benjamin Glover and David Arthur Garcia with the band’s Bart Marshall Millard, rapper Reuben, and Solomon Olds, formerly of Family Force 5. Garcia and Glover have written for Mandisa before, so I’m familiar with this sonic landscape, and I LOVE IT. The encouraging message of the song will definitely resonate with many people, and I’m excited to see how this song will perform, especially in the wake of the brilliant yet criminally underappreciated “Happy Dance.”
