Christian rocker David Crowder has released Run Devil Run, the carrier single of his new album, American Prodigal. Crowder’s southern influences really come out on this track, which is blowing up at Christian CHR rock which is absolutely fun to listen to and His style is typically Christian rock, infused with elements of folk and bluegrass, however this track is a little bit different. When you listen to ‘Run Devil Run,’ it sounds like a straight-forward rock song more than anything else. One electric guitar with the crunch turned WAY up and heavily distorted vocals give this track its character and its personality. There are still elements of what makes Crowder unique, such as lap steel guitar solos and lyrics full of biblical reference.
