Contemporary Christian pop/rock band Audio Adrenaline has released the title track from their newest release, Sound of the Saints. Christian AC hadn’t warmed up to carrier single Love is Stronger, which only managed a middling 30s finish, and the second single, Move, didn’t even chart, but I am feeling very strongly about the chances of Sound of the Saints.
This new Audio Adrenaline single is one of the strongest I’ve heard from them since their rebirth, for a variety reasons. An irresistible chorus, catchy verse melodies, and a headstrong chorus are just the tip of the iceberg. Theologically, this is a brilliant song, capturing the emotions that come over us when Christ comes back to claim us all for His glory. It still applies, though, to the present-day, every time His people come together in worship. I think it’s absolutely brilliant.
