It’s another predictable week on Billboard’s Christian Songs chart. The top 5 stay stationary, with Hillsong United’s Oceans scoring a 34th week at number one. At this point, I’m no longer wondering who will replace the veteran Australian praise and worship act at number one. Clearly, it’s going to be another Hillsong outfit. Young and Free? Hillsong Worship? United again? #sarcasm
Seriously, though, that’s an incredible run. I won’t venture to stay this is a record that’ll stay until the end of time, but 34 weeks at number one on the Christian Songs chart is a mad crazy run. That’s just incredible. Wow. Joel Houston and Matt Crocker have outdone themselves, absolutely brilliant.
