Paul Baloche’s The Same Love is doing well on Radio and Records’ Soft AC/Inspo chart (#13 with a bullet), which bodes well for the Contemporary Christian journeyman. The Same Love is striking, not just for its message of hope and redemption, but for its video, which emphasizes the “You’re calling,” part of the song, and uses the ‘paper cups and string’ play-phone concept to “reach out” to those in most need of God’s message. Clever little concept, and executed well, without being cheesy or cornball. Kudos to all involved; The Same Love has even greater impact because of this creative video.
