Adelaine, “Do or Die”

Debuting Contemporary Christian rock band Adelaine has released Do Or Die, the carrier single off its debut, Take Heart, off Mosaic Artists’ Group. A song about getting over the fear of failure and the feeling of not being good enough and coming to the realization that you are good enough as you are, Do Or Die scored the most number of radio adds last week on Radio and Records’ Christian Rock chart. Personally, I like it; it’s kinda like a Christian version of Paramore, but not really, their sound is quite unique.

DO OR DIE Lyrics
Adelaide

Raindrops are falling on my lap
My jeans are speckled now resembling a map
Of all the places I might go
I close my eyes and wonder where I’ll be in a year or so

When it comes to that do or die moment
Will I stand tall
or will I cower when my dreams power over me?
When it comes to that do or die moment
Will I stand tall
or will I cower when my dreams power over me?

I’m standing on the edge looking down at what I’ve always wanted
It’s seems surreal to me being within arms reach
The little girl inside is telling me to leap

When it comes to that do or die moment
Will I stand tall
or will I cower when my dreams power over me?
When it comes to that do or die moment
Will I stand tall
or will I cower when my dreams power over me?

I shouldn’t doubt what I believe
After all, it’s what I always wanted
I know I shouldn’t doubt what I believe
After all, it’s what I always wanted

When it comes to that do or die moment
Will I stand tall
or will I cower when my dreams power over me?
When it comes to that do or die moment
Will I stand tall
or will I cower when my dreams power over me?
When it comes to that do or die moment
Duh duh duh duh
When it comes to that do or die moment
Duh duh duh duh
When it comes to that do or die moment
Will I stand tall
or will I cower when my dreams power over me?
