Contemporary Christian pop-rock band Sixteen Cities has returned with the carrier single and title track off its sophomore release, Love Is Making A Way. The Portland group first stole the spotlight in 2010 with its debut single, Sing Along, which cracked the Radio and Records Christian AC chart. This time around, Centricity Records has even more confidence in the band’s experience, and an aggressive push to radio shouldn’t be too far off. Lead singer Josiah Warneking co-wrote Love Is Making A Way with Steve Wilson and Jeff Pardo.
LOVE IS MAKING A WAY Lyrics
Sixteen Cities
The sun is rising
A new light’s shining
The darkness is fading away
Now my heart’s believing
My eyes are seeing
That everything has changed Love is making a way Breaking my chains Healing what was broken Hope is coming alive In this heart of mine This heart that You have stolen
Like a thief in the night
You come by surprise
Your mercy captures me
And what I’ve done
Who I was
Is not who I will be
All because
Lord, you have it all
Straight into Your arms I am falling
And all I’ve got is Yours
You are everything I’m living for
