Contemporary Christian superstar TobyMac is experimenting with his sound. Christmas in Diverse City, his new Christmas release, has quite a range of musical styles, including a collaboration with Adam Young, better known as Owl City, who topped the Billboard Hot 100 a few years ago with Fireflies.
Now, I’m as open-minded about ambient electronic music, but this version of The First Noel isn’t working for me. Which is weird, because I virtually worship the ground TobyMac walks on. What do you think about this version? Yea or nay?
