Contemporary Christian artist Robert Pierre is doing pretty well for someone his age – at only 18 years of age, the young singer has a new album, I’m All In, which includes production work by Jason Ingram (Tenth Avenue North, Bebo Norman) and Matt Bronleewe (Chris Tomlin, Jars of Clay). The midtempo single Light the Way is now picking up at Christian AC, which can only bode well for the talented young Christian with the strong baritone and songwriting skill (he co-wrote almost every track on I’m All In.
I’ve listened to a few of the other tracks from I’m All In on YouTube and I confess I probably will become a fan. I like the fact that he’s young and talented, and, having just finished high school, he’s stepping out in faith to follow his heart, his calling, and the gift that God has placed inside of him. I hope Light the Way picks up at Christian AC; artists like Robert Pierre should be heard and seen by more people.
