Contemporary Christian singer-songwriter and Vineyard Church worship leader Jeremy Riddle has released his new single, The Lord is My Shepherd, on iTunes and to Christian AC radio. Best known for his 2007 breakthrough single Sweetly Broken, Riddle sounds strong and secure on his new single, which is obviously based on Psalm 23. While mainstream CCM success seems to have eluded him so far in the form of an actual Top 10 hit, The Lord is My Shepherd may be his best bet for stardom in the Contemporary Christian industry. The Lord is My Shepherd is one of the top 10 songs with the greatest increase in spins over the past week on Christian AC radio. I personally like it, and think a Top 25 finish is not out of the question (assuming his distributor can get into the hands of more Christian AC programmers). What do you think?
