Contemporary Christian pop-rock band Sanctus Real just can’t seem to do anything wrong. After the #6 finish of Forgiven, the carrier single of its latest album, Pieces of a Real Heart, followed by the #1 success of Lead Me, Sanctus Real’s third single off that stellar album is the decidedly uptempo The Redeemer. A hopeful song whose lyrics that tells of faith in the redemptive power of Christ, The Redeemer is already starting to pick up on Christian AC radio, scoring a couple of radio adds and enough spins in its first week of airplay to score a spot in Radio and Records’ Top 10 Taking Off on the Christian chart. Give it a few more weeks, and I’ll bet Sanctus Real will have another Top 10 in its hands.
