Pure Love advocate Jason Evert speaks at “Real Love Revolution 2011”

Real Love Revolution 2011 is one event Christian youth, parents, and educators would do well not to miss.

Real Love Revolution 2011 is a project of the I Am S.T.R.O.N.G. youth character education program of I Keep Love Real, in turn a program of the University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P) – Center for Social Responsibility, in cooperation with the UA&P Student Executive Board, the UP Klub Tala, Youth for the Family, CFC Foundation for Life, EDUCHILD Foundation, Inc, EDUCHILD Iloilo-Westbridge, and UA&P Catalyst-CFC Global-Diocesan Youth Commission (NCR).

Two of the program’s talks promise to be enlightening and encouraging. Romance without Regret addresses the issues with which teenagers struggle most, including sexual pressure, pornography, modesty, and starting over. In an age in which the media tell young people that they cannot—and need not—control themselves sexually, Romance without Regret offers a refreshing, challenging, and entertaining message to students from junior high school on up. Get the male and female perspectives on living chastely, as you listen to their life-changing message. Meanwhile, Raising Pure Teens educates parents with communication techniques, resources, statistics, and a wealth of information to assist parents in their task as the primary sex educators of their children, helping them compete with MTV, sexting, Internet porn, and other worldly influences that allure teenagers away from a pure life.

Real Love Revolution 2011 features bestselling author Jason Evert, one of America’s foremost pure love advocates, who will talk to the minds and hearts of the youth, their parents, and professional educators, on how to shape lives of the youth towards their common destiny of real love, fidelity, and well-being. Evert is a best-selling author of several books, including If You Really Loved Me, Theology of the Body for Teens, Pure Love, Purity 365, Pure Faith: A Prayer Book for Teens, Pure Intimacy, Pure Womanhood and Pure Manhood; a master’s degree holder in Theology, Evert has been on the Catholic Book Publishers Association bestseller list for youth with his book, Theology of His Body/Theology of Her Body. His latest book, Raising Pure Teens, is a piece aimed at helping parents employ Biblical strategies to raise their children to remain pure in their adolescence into adult years. Ten years ago, he founded Pure Love Club, which is an international alliance of young people who promote chastity in over 30 countries.

Real Love Revolution 2011 has held several activities over the past two days and for the next two at venues in Manila and Iloilo.
