A few weeks after I’d heard Big Daddy Weave’s The Lion and the Lamb, I heard another version of the song–thank you, Spotify!–by Leeland Mooring from the Bethel release, Have It All.
There is something about this song that sends shivers down my spine, and Leeland’s version is very ounce as good as Big Daddy Weave’s, if not better. There’s something about live performances of incredible worship songs that does something to me. (Reference Housefires’ Good Good Father versus the bland version that Chris Tomlin took to No.1 in the US).
I don’t think we have to worry about Leeland’s The Lion and the Lamb; it’s a truly incredible song.
