Mercyme, “Shake”

Contemporary Christian pop/rock band MercyMe has released Shake, a digital single that may be the band’s most accessible uptempo single since So Long Self. Written by MercyMe stalwarts Bart Millard, Mike Scheuchzer, Nathan Cochran, Robby Shaffer, Barry Graul, and Solomon Olds with Contemporary Christian songwriters du jour David Garcia and Ben Glover – who recently won another songwriter of the year award at ASCAP – Shake is a rollicking celebration of joy and faith in a God Who has changed us inside and out. I absolutely love it. Bart Millard sounds like he’s truly enjoying himself, and the video – OH THE VIDEO! – complements the song totally. I love it love it love it. Great job, MercyMe!
