Janet Jackson unveiled “Make Me,” an uptempo disco-inflected dance anthem, after singing Scream at the MTV Video Music Awards to kick the show off, as a present to her fans on JanetJackson.com. I haven’t been able to get it out of my head! It’s third on my list of favorite Janet carrier singles (my favorite carrier is still Runaway from Design of a Decade, and a close second is Feedback off Discipline).
Actually, no real word that Make Me is going to be a carrier, but Make Me has a great beat, an infectious rhythm, and, of course, the Michael Jackson tribute – a few sung lines of Don’t stop til you get enough. I love it! Go Janet!
