BONAMANA is my second English acapella cover of the Korean idol group Super Junior; the first was my English cover of their monster hit, SORRY SORRY. I’ve uploaded my Super Junior BONAMANA English translation onto YouTube as well. This one was a lot harder to record, and while the arrangement is still excruciatingly simple, I’m okay with the finished product. What do you think?
Everyone who knew me during my teenage years knows I was crazy for Wilson Phillips. I wonder why it took me so long to make an a capella cover of one of their songs. I guess I couldn’t decide which one, and I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to do it justice. So I decided to make a medley and well, it’s far from perfect – Wilson Phillips is one of the closest things to perfection in my eyes – but I hope listeners appreciate the heart that went into this.
