When Chinese food reminds me of home, it makes my heart sing. Well, Dickson’s Tak Kee Roast Inn sent my heart into concert mode.
Back home, we’d go to Lam Tin along Banawe Avenue and enjoy a hot and sour soup, lemon chicken & salt & pepper spare ribs. ? Imagine my joy to discover good things at the Tak Kee Roast Inn in Dickson! We had the BBQ pork, which was five spicy & mildly sweet; a beef brisket & gow gee dry noodle, which was tender & flavourful; and a fried rice that would make Uncle Roger proud. It really tasted like home.
