Contemporary Christian rapper tobyMac has released “I Just Need U,” his first single for 2018. Written by tobyMac with Bryan Fowler and Blake Neesmith, “I Just Need U” is a hot dancefloor jam that takes for its subject the process of finding God and relying on Him in times of difficulty.
Acknowledge his “futile attempts to handle life on [his] own,” tobyMac says on his Instagram account, he hopes the song will “meet people right where they are. I am a born defector,” he adds, “learning every day that the sweetest place and the only RIGHT place for me, is turning back and falling into the arms of a loving God.”
