Contemporary Christian singer/songwriter Tauren Wells, best known for his work with Royal Tailor, has released the second single from his debut EP, Undefeated. Titled Hills and Valleys, the song is a piano-driven ballad that speaks of God’s presence in our lives, both in good times and bad. Reminiscent of but vastly superior to Royal Tailor’s breakout hit, Hold Me Together, Hills and Valleys is poised to become Wells’ ticket to Contemporary Christian stardom.
As a song about how God is there with us in both good and bad times, “Hills and Valleys” will minister to us whether we’re having a difficult valley season or a triumphant mountaintop experience. It’s a great reminder of how God’s grace is sufficient for us in these times, and reminds us to respond to whatever God allows in our lives with a resounding “I will choose to say, ‘Blessed be Your Name.’
