Contemporary Christian pop/rock band Hawk Nelson has released the follow-up to its Top 10 smash Drops in the Ocean. Diamonds, taken from the album of the same title, is quite the radio-friendly pop gem, using a very catchy chorus and an inspirational message of how God can take all of us, the dust of the earth, so to speak, and “make diamonds out of us.” Jangly guitars, a steady bass, and Jonathan Steingard’s impressive vocal–the guitarist stepped into the lead vocal role with 2012’s Made, and has shown remarkable growth–make Diamonds an easy bet for Top 10 status.
