Billboard Hot Christian Songs – May 2, 2015

These are the Top 10 songs on Billboard’s Hot Christian Songs chart, as of May 2, 2015. As if it weren’t already an embarrassment of riches for Hillsong United, in its 83nd week on the chart, Oceans spends a third consecutive week at No.1, its 48th week at No.1. In doing so, by the way, it was performed last week by The Voice finalist Deanna Johnson, who, sadly was eliminated this week. Johnson can take solace in the fact that her version of Oceans debuts at No.14 this week on the chart, and her previous recording, Down to the River to Pray, is still in the Top 20. Had Johnson’s Oceans debuted in the Top 10, that would have been the first time a song would have had two versions in the Top 10 at the same time, for Christian Songs. Ah well.
