Just the other day, I read an article on BuzzFeed titled Terrible 90s Songs That Everyone Secretly Loves. A lot of people crucified the writer–rightly so, if you ask this child of the 90s –but it did give me food for thought.
There are a lot – A LOT! – of great pop songs from the 90s, and if you grew up then, you may have enjoyed a sampling of some of the best, albeit cheesiest, songs you’ll ever get to listen to. Forget the naysayers who want to forget the 90s, and return either to the nostalgic heyday of the 70s or the sheer inanity of the 80s. The 90s were honestly where it was at.
