I love my job, but last year, I arrived at a major career crossroad that I considered seriously. Ultimately, I decided to stay put. “I trust You,” I told God shortly after I’d made that decision, “I know You have a plan for me, and I delight in You, not my career.”
Four months later, I love my job even more, especially because I love our team! Plus, my wife has gotten even more beautiful (didn’t think it was possible!), I still have time for her and my kids, I still host Saved on Energy FM, I’ve been given the opportunity to co-write worship songs and volunteer for my church, and I’m flying to Singapore (for the first time!) for my birthday at the end of the month. People we’re praying for are being healed, getting pregnant, and experiencing spiritual and relational revival. To top it all off, I’ve lost almost 20lbs. lolz
When we delight in God, He will delight us beyond our wildest dreams! So delight in God, friends!
