Acapella supergroup Pentatonix has released its latest cover, an incredible remake of the Billboard Hot 100 number one hit, Royals by Lorde. Thus far, virtually every single revival that Pentatonix has released, I have found better than the original, and Royals is no exception, owing mostly to Mitch Grassi’s exceptional tenor – which trumps Lorde’s vocals, IMHO – and the rich arrangement that PTX has come to known for. Incredible work once again from pop-acapella’s reigning quintet.
