Billboard Top Christian Songs – September 21, 2013

It’s an incredible seventeen weeks now at number one for Matthew West’s Hello My Name Is on top the Billboard Christian Songs charts. It extends the song’s reign as the fifth most successful Contemporary Christian song of all time in terms of weeks at number 1, and is only a week away from tying Chris Tomlin’s Made to Worship as the fourth most successful Contemporary Christian song of all time in terms of weeks at number 1. Only Word of God Speak by MercyMe (23 weeks), Give Me Your Eyes by Brandon Heath & East to West by Casting Crowns (19 weeks) and Tomlin have spent more weeks at number one. That’s just incredible.

In other related chart news, Natalie Grant’s Hurricane finally enters the Top 10, 12-10, after hovering in the upper echelons of the Top 20 for several weeks. It displaces Newsboys’ Live with Abandon, which drops 10-11.
