It’s nine weeks now for Matthew West’s Hello My Name Is atop the Billboard Christian Songs chart. West has now spent a collective total of 31 weeks on top of the Billboard Christian Songs chart, which thrills me because I think West is one of the finest Christian singer/songwriters of his generation.
While The Afters’ Every Good Thing spend a second week at number two, Building 429’s We Won’t Be Shaken reaches a new peak at number five, establishing itself as the most likely contender to number one.
Meanwhile, Matt Maher’s Lord I Need You enters the Top 10 after 23 weeks on the chart. This is Maher’s fourth Top 10 hit, and, at number 8, is just four notches away from the number four peak of Your Grace is Enough, his biggest hit to date.
