Contemporary Christian superstar Chris Tomlin has released his cover of Martin Smith’s God’s Great Dance Floor as the follow-up to the monster hit, Whom Shall I Fear (God of Angel Armies). It certainly took sixsteps records long enough to decide on what to release, but the wait and decision was worth it. God’s Great Dance Floor is decidedly different from anything Tomlin has released before, and the deviation is wise. The live version on the new Passion release underscores its radio-friendliness and worship readiness, This is a great song, and I’m sure it’ll do well. Will it be Tomlin’s next number one hit?
