Does there seem to be nothing stopping Building 429? Apparently not! LOL Where I Belong is the first song since Jeremy Camp’s Take You Back in 2005 to spend that many weeks at #1; those two songs are the only two songs to spend that long at #1. The only songs to spend more weeks at #1 than Where I Belong are MercyMe’s Word of God Speak (23 weeks at #1 in 2003); Casting Crowns’ East to West (2007) and Brandon Heath’s Give Me Your Eyes (2008), both of which spent 19 weeks apiece; and Chris Tomlin’s Made to Worship. That’s just phenomenal, congratulations, Building 429!
No new entries to the Top 10 this week, just minor shuffling around from slots 6 to 9. Hotshot debut honors go to Thousand Foot Krutch’s Be Somebody at #39 (pictured), with Heather Williams making her latest debut, a #49 entry for You Are Loved. Greatest Gainer honors go to Chris August’s Center of It.
