On Ganns’ Top 10 this week, Jimmy Needham scores his first #1 hit since Forgiven and Loved on my Top 10, as If I Ever Needed Grace skips past Group 1 Crew’s He Said, which falls to #4. Also relatively big news is Heather Williams’ new single, You Are Loved which enters the chart at #4. Most artists would love to have a debut number like that, but Williams’ last single, God Is Still God, entered the chart at #1, so it’s kinda mixed beans for Williams; if she goes to #1, she will have become the first Christian artist to go to #1 on my chart with her first three singles since Mandisa. Williams’ debut also steals the thunder of Mary Mary, whose Go Get It debuts just a notch below Williams at #5, and Beckah Shae, who debuts at #9 with the decidedly low-key Overflow; Shae’s last (and only previous Top 10 hit on my chart) was the #1 single, Life.

On the secular chart, Taetiseo scores its first week at #1 with Twinkle. In its second week on the chart, the song has already made enough airplay to be sixth most played song in my iTunes Top 25 Most Played, and is just a few plays away from John Park. Unless Secret’s comeback single in June promises to be spectacular – although Twinkle Twinkle will debut on the chart next week, look at that, another Twinkle! – we can safely bet that Taetiseo will most likely have the #1 K-Pop single of the year. :p
