I recently acquired my third pair of Bradford Shoes, Asia’s most respected maker of elevator shoes for men. In 2006, I bought the Bradford Adrian model; in 2007, I purchased myself the Bradford Adrian model. I’m pleased to say that five to six years later, I still have both pairs of these men’s elevator shoes.
A few weeks ago, I decided to get a pair of Bradford Holly shoes so I could vary my dress shoes. The Bradford Adrian shoes serves me well, plus it adds four inches to my regular height of 5 feet 6 inches. The Holly looked like it could be a comfortable addition, a welcome break for the Adrian, which underwent six years of use as my only pair of dress shoes for weddings. According to Bradford’s official website, the shoes’ AddHeight technology add to his desired height without sacrificing comfort and style. I noticed in particular that the comfort afforded by the Holly was quite good, even better than the Adrian. Bradford must have improved the quality significantly.
Believe it or not, of all the shoes I own, Bradford Shoes is the only brand that I own three of. (A fourth is in the offing; I’m interested in the Bradford Harris as well.)
I really should take a picture, but meanwhile, here are some shots of my unboxing the shoes several , so to speak. The way I felt about opening the box felt similarly to when I opened the box of my Macbook Pro (his name is Prometheus, by the way, LOL). It was quite a rush! LOL
