For the record, I like Josh Wilson. He has a clear, distinctive voice that showcases the emotion and passion of every song he sings. His biggest hit – I Refuse – is one such example, as was Before The Morning, his first Top 10 hit. On Wilson’s first Christmas single, Jesus Is Alive, Wilson showcases that powerful voice again in his retelling of the Christmas story. Ideal for use in churches and on radio, Wilson hits another one outta the ballpark; Jesus Is Alive has the same kind of powerful storytelling passion that Chris August has in his own retelling, Jesus Savior. Both men actually have a lot of common, and I’d be hard-pressed to select which of the two singles I prefer. So, I’ll tell you what I think: I’d get both. If you’re in the mood for a Christmas song that tells the Yuletide story, once again, Josh Wilson has us covered. *grin*
