Superstar supercedes superstar, as Contemporary Christian singer-songwriter Chris Tomlin leapfrogs over erstwhile #1 champ Jeremy Camp (The Way) and former #1 champ Laura Story (Blessings) to score another #1 hit on the Billboard Top Christian Songs chart with I Lift My Hands. Greatest Gainer and new to the Top 10 is Hold Me by Jamie Grace featuring TobyMac, a very real contender for #1. (She’ll be the third female artist to go to #1 in 2011 on Billboard following Mandisa and Laura Story if she succeeds.) I really didn’t think I Lift My Hands had the chops, but clearly I was wrong. :) The only debuts this week is John Waller at #33 with Yes.
