UK-born Contemporary Christian singer-songwriter Mariette Davina has released You Are Holy, an elegant cross-classical worship song available on her official website, as well as on Amazon and iTunes. Born in the UK but raised in South Africa, Davina’s extensive schooling in music – with a specific focus on opera – has resulted in an interesting musical style not readily available on Soft AC/Inspo, where a track like You Are Holy may flourish if progressively minded radio programmers are willing to take a risk on this unusual song. Previously signed to independent South African record label Gallo Records, with whom she released All I Need on its compilation CD Timeless, Davina is now making the rounds in her birth nation, pursuing a full-time musical career after three years of Bible school.
