Contemporary Christian pop-rock band Newsboys does everything right. Even as We Remember climbs up the AC charts, the Inpop Records artists release Save Your Life, a free download that comes with the band’s repackaged Born Again: Miracles Edition, which features new songs and remixes of some of the tracks in the original Born Again.
Save Your Life is one of their catchiest songs yet under new frontman Michael Tait. I’ve always been a fan of both Tait and the Newsboys circa Peter Furler, and the newest incarnation of the boys sends shivers down my spine. Tait is never one to water down the message, and Save Your Life is as in-your-face as a song can get. Catchy guitars, a relevant message, and Tait’s straightforward vocal. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT. That’s three terrific singles already off Born Again. If you still don’t have a copy of Born Again, you need to hie on down to House of Praise and get yourself a copy, because it is PHAT.
