Contemporary Christian artist Kerrie Roberts, who earned a Top 10 hit a few months back with her debut single, No Matter What, has released a follow-up single, Take You Away (Reunion/PLG), which is now starting to pick up on Christian AC radio (this week, it’s one of the more added tracks). While admittedly not as initially catchy as No Matter What, Take You Away‘s chilled-out tempo and memorable melody bodes well for its long-time chances.
Kerrie Roberts’ Take You Away is a song of encouragement, written from God’s perspective, cheering you on in times of difficulty. It’s an impressive piece, really, boldly telling believers that there is a better place waiting for us, and when the time comes, well, He will “take (us) away.” I’m sold; buy your copies legit okay, at iTunes, Amazon, or wherever Christian mp3s are sold legitimately.
