After more than two and a half months atop the Billboard Christian Songs chart, Sanctus Real’s Lead Me has finally slipped from the #1 position, giving way to Chris August’s Starry Night. August’s topping the chart marks the first time a solo male debut artist has topped the main Christian chart since… since… I can’t recall the last time that’s happened. lol Good on you, Chris; it’s a great song, and very well deserved. Also interesting: the Afters move up a notch to #3 with Light Up the Sky; it’s their highest-ever charting single, and well within striking distance of #1. Superchick registers the highest debut this week, a #46 entry with Still Here; The Museum’s Never Look Away debuts right behind them. Greatest Gainer this week is Jason Castro’s You Are, which rockets halfway up the chart, 46-27.
