Six weeks now for Chris Tomlin’s Our God. We’re using Our God in church now, and when a church in Makati uses a current Christian song, you know that song’s gotta be hot. No movement on the top level of the chart, except for Josh Wilson’s Before the Morning tumbling three notches from 5 to 8 – in the Christian chart, that’s huge – and the Top 10 remains the same, no newcomers. The highest debut this week comes from Contemporary Christian superstar Matthew West, whose My Own Little World debuts at #39. Below him are Britt Nicole with Hanging On (I love this song! Why haven’t I featured it yet? Hm!) and Carrie Underwood, whose Temporary Home returns her to the Christian Songs chart for the first time since Jesus Take the Wheel. Greatest Gainer this week is Switchfoot’s Your Love Is A Song (this song’s been around! Is radio finally warming up to it?).
