New Christian Radio Singles – April 13 2009

I recommend the following five new singles starting to rise up the Christian charts:

Ayiesha Woods, Alive. I still can’t believe CCM radio didn’t pick up on Love Like This, but hopefully, they’ll open up to this new single. One thing’s for sure: you ain’t never heard anything like this on Christian radio.

Meredith Andrews, The New Song We Sing. After two ballads in a row, it’s nice to know that Andrews can rock it and then some. This Christian pop-rock gem is fingers-on-the-wheel-tapping excellent for driving down the freeway. I love it.

33Miles Jesus Calling. It’s never easy following up a hit as big as One Life to Love, but the three men of 33Miles are certainly on the right track with this track. Jesus Calling should also find an audience on country radio.

Downhere, Hope Is Rising. While I never was a Downhere fan, this track certainly piqued my attention. Hope Is Rising is shaping up to be a massive Christian crossover hit, so let’s see if Downhere can take this song upthere. Methinks it can!

Decemberadio, Look For Me. In the crush of bands doing Christian rock, Decemberadio can show the young’uns a thing or two with this new single. Look For Me underscores the fact that Decemberadio will continue to stay relevant in the years to come.
