Acapella Remakes

I also like arranging songs in a capella style. My first a capella arrangement was for The Escape Club’s “I’ll Be There” in 1991; I did that with two cassette tapes and two cassette players, singing over each player until we had layered voices. Of course, now, we have much better technology, but the heart and soul of acapella is still the harmonies. I sold my first acapella arrangement, a version of Toto’s “I’ll Be Over You,” in 1999 to DingDong Avanzado; in 2010, it is my goal to come up with one capella remake per month.
