Ganns’ Top 10 – September 15, 2012

Ganns’ Top 10 – September 15, 2012

It’s a full month for Forever JONES on my personal top 10, but we have a realistic chance of a new number one hit next week, with literally one to two-spin differences between the songs in the Top 4. I haven’t seen this competitive a fight for the year-end Top 10 in a while. A lot of great quality music coming out this year.

TOP 10 CHRISTIAN SONGS

1. (1) Forever JONES Hold Me Still
2. (3) Jason Castro Only A Mountain
3. (6) Group 1 Crew His Kind of LOve
4. (4) Israel Houghton & New Breed Your Presence is Heaven

6. (2) Matt Redman 10000 Reasons (Bless the Lord)
7. (8) Andrew Peterson Rest Easy
8. (5) Luminate Banner of Love
9. (10) Britt Nicole All This Time
10. (new) Building 429 Right Beside You

Despite the #1 iTunes position, Psy falls to #3 on my secular chart. The new #1 single? The Korean comeback single from Korean girl group Secret, naturally! Despite the overtly sexual video, Poison is still a pretty darn good song. f(x)’s em>Electric Shock may end up song of the year at this rate; it rises to a new peak at #2.

TOP 10 SECULAR SONGS
1. (new) Secret Poison
2. (4) f(x) Electric Shock
3. (3) Boa Only One
4. (1) PSY Gangnam Style
5. (2) Super Junior Spy
