Contemporary Christian singer/songwriter Chris August has released his new single, Pieces, on Spotify and iTunes, and is now touring in support of the new single with fellow Contemporary Christian singer/songwriter Jonny Diaz.
Pieces is August’s take on the original by Bethel Music song, which appears on the album Have It All. While the Bethel Music original is decidedly more worshipful in its vocal and instrumentation approach, August’s Pieces adds a Contemporary Christian radio sensibility to the track. His instantly recognizable voice wraps around the song, and I’m sure, if done acoustically, would be absolutely gorgeous.
