Contemmporary Christian singer/songwriter Meredith Andrews released Strong God to Christian radio a little over six weeks ago, and the response of Christian Soft AC/Inspo has been nothing short of phenomenal. In its sixth week, it is now number four on the chart, up five from the previous week, and Greatest Gainer. There is no doubt in my mind that Andrews is set to claim her first number one song on this chart, a well-deserved accomplishment for this rising star. Strong God is a beautifully written, exquisitely sung song of praise to a God Whose grace is sufficient and Whose strength is absolute. This live acoustic version intersperses Strong God with Chris Tomlin’s How Great is Our God, which enhanced the experience even more. Kudos, Ms. Andrews, you have a winner with this one!
