Don’t Try So Hard is supposed to feature James Taylor, but frankly, he’s virtually nonexistent on this record, which is a shame. Don’t Try So Hard sings about grace, and how we needn’t work so hard to please God. It’s gentle, it’s quiet, it’s Taylor-made (see what I did there?) for Soft AC/Inspo.
